Dental insurance has been cited as one of the major problems faced by dental practices. Dentists want to know the differences between Medicare and Medicare Advantage (MA), also known as Part C plans. ADA staff will be joined by representatives from a major insurance company as they explain the differences and how participation in MA plans can affect a typical dental practice.

Topics that will be covered include star ratings for MA plans, supplemental offerings, opt-out provisions, preclusion/exclusion lists and dual-eligible members. In addition, various Medicare Advantage products will be discussed (DHMO, PPO and Allowance).
